I've led and managed small and large teams for two top 10 Fortune 500 companies. Throughout my career, mentors have taught me that great teams always find a way, but exceptional performance requires planning, active communication, collaboration, calculated risk-taking, and trust. Vision, teamwork, execution, and measurable performance are the core tenets of my approach to leadership.
Being optimistic. I focus on positivity along with recognizing the people and relationships that create forward momentum. I try to build bridges and understanding, and I’m grateful to all who have helped me learn through adversity, success, and failure every day. I have no regrets. It’s both the good and bad experiences that have shaped my personal and professional growth.
Navigating ambiguity, not always knowing where the ship is heading, working to steer a proper course, measuring progress, and making periodic corrections along the way, then learning from both success and failure has given me invaluable insight. Work hard, have humility, be grateful, be respectful, help others along the way. That's the path.
